Company Profile
Australian Skills Training (AST) is a privately owned company that develops and delivers Industrial and Technical Training Courses. The training is aimed at individuals and companies who are seeking to develop skills and where applicable comply with legislative requirements for machinery operation.

AST has offices and training centres in the following locations:

• AST Perth, Western Australia
• AST Darwin, Northern Territory
• AST Batam, Indonesia
• AST Singapore

Many of the courses provided by AST are accredited with the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia and encompass units of competency prescribed by the National Occupational Health & Safety Certification Standards for the use and operation of industrial equipment.

Technical training provided by AST is aimed at developing skills specifically for the maintenance of fixed plant and machinery. The training is specialised and targets critical skills that contribute to improving plant performance and reliability.

AST has an extensive client list that come from a wide range of industries, including, Building and Construction, Mining, Refining, Oil and Gas and Defence Industries. Training is delivered throughout Australia, and internationally upon request.
