Training Centre
Our training centre in Perth consists of a 1.5 Hectare site with ten class rooms and sufficient facilities to conduct several courses simultaneously. It is conveniently located only 10 minutes from the City of Fremantle is accessible by public transport.

Training Equipment
The following equipment is available for training at the premises:

• Crane type Tadano TR250M - Rough Terrain.
  This enables course participants to achieve a C6 Certification (Any Mobile Crane up to 60 tonne capacity).
  
• Crane type B.H.B. TC. 36 - 6 tonne capacity non slewing tractor crane.
  This enables course participants to achieve a CN Certification - Any Non Slewing Crane.
  
• Crane type Coles ‘Gargantua’ 62 tonne (Pin Jib).
  This enables course participants to achieve a C1 Certification (Any Mobile Crane up to 100 tonne capacity.
  
• 14Mt Vehicle Loading Crane fitted to a 12T Mercedes Truck.
  
• Yale 2.5 tonne forklift with pallets and shelving units to perform forklift operations.
  
• Comprehensive Scaffolding inventory for training of Scaffolders.
  
• Welding bays and all welding equipment necessary to facilitate training.
  
• A pump and motor assembly and facilities for conducting machine alignment and balancing.
  
• Pipe spools and equipment for conducting ‘hands on’ bolt tightening training using a variety of techniques – torque tightening, bolt stretching, and hydraulic nuts.
  
• Portal frame building for erection by rigging course participants. All necessary slings and equipment for conducting rigging and dogging training.

All equipment and machinery is owned and operated by AST and permanently located at our training centre.

AST is located 15 kms south of Fremantle, Western Australia. Buses traveling south from Fremantle stop within walking distance of our Training Centre. Taxis from Perth Domestic and International airport cost approximately $55 AUD. Click here for map >
